Highlights
-
Animals, S.F. Zoo, photography, cats, polar bear, penguin, lion, tiger,
First: You have to have patient. Be ready for the animal to move unexpectedly, and be ready for the photo to look horrible or really good. The animal has a mind of it's own so you have to be quick to get really nice pictures. You have to know that it takes a long time to get a good picture of an animal.
The tiger turned when I wasn't expecting it to. But the photo turned out really good( surprisingly)
Second: Have your cammera ready at all times to take a photo. Or have it at a way where it will be really easy to turn it on and ready to take the picture. Because you never know when a really good chance will come up.
I Just happened to be in the right place at the right time for this photo.
Third: Go take photos of animals that you like but are not your favorite. Like the picture of this penguin here. I don't really care for them, I like cats better, but I still got a good shot from him. Great pictures come from everywhere.
I don't really care for penguins, but I got this great photo from it.
Fourth: You get the best photos of animals when you are at the right place at the right time, patient, ready to take the picture, and it's of an animal you like.
I just love this photo. That's all I have to say.

Do you ever use a tripod? Just wondered... it seems like it would help for the times you have to wait. Reply...

Very nice job. I took a lot of pictures at the San Antonio Zoo last year. It seemed for every good one, I had 10 horrible ones. Thanks for the tips. Reply...
