Instead of traditional pumpkin pie, why not try something different this Thanksgiving?  Here is a great recipe for pumpkin cheesecake pie.
 
It's very simple to make and quite delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 prepared graham cracker crust
  • Whipped cream or whipped topping


Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla and beat until creamy.
  • Add in eggs and pumpkin, beating until smooth.
  • Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg until well blended.
  • Spread the batter into the pie crust.
  • Bake for 40 minutes or until center is set.
  • Allow to cool, then chill overnight.
  • Serve with whipped cream or whipped topping, if desired.
