"The three most valuable brand names on earth:

How is that determined? Those companies are definitely not the most valuable by success, I'm pretty sure those would be companies like Exxon, General Electric, and Microsoft I think Reply...

Isn't it funny how two of those are drugs (nicotine and alcohol) and the third is sometimes used by police to clean blood off the road after car wrecks and yet we drink it....lol. Reply...

yeah, it's quite amazing, but explains a lot as to why people recognize those names. Choose your poison Reply...

to simplify how its determined its basically: how much MORE could a can of soda labed: Coke sell for more than a regular can. How many cans of soda does Coke sell a year?? Multiply that number by the difference and you have how much the brand is worth. Reply...

I disagree. You should really do a number of samples in different stores in different areas showing how two sodas compare in equal situations meaning equal placement, equal price, etc. Then do a two-sample z test with the proportions you get to test your hypothesis Reply...

Interesting list. Most valuable brands are wrong though, they are (in this order): Coca Cola ($67,000million), Microsoft ($56,926million), IBM ($56,201million). See: http://images.businessweek.com/ss/06/07/top_brands/source/1.htm Reply...

I liked this. Wonder if the thing about the apples is true, cause caffeine does nothing for me. Apples are good. ;) Reply...

I liked it, but not all of them were true. The folding paper 7 times and echoing quacks have both been busted on Mythbusters! Reply...
