Okay, I don't know much, but I do know drinking games. So, guess I might as well share that knowledge since apparently beer pong has taken over as the only drinking game you kids know how to play these days. For this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to play 3 Man.
All you need to play are a pair of dice, a 3 man helmet and your drink of choice, preferably beer. You can play with liquor if you like, but its going to be a pretty short game that way.
You start by having everyone go around in a circle (clock-wise) and roll the dice. The first person to roll a 3 is the three man. Give them the helmet and the person to the left of the three man goes first.
Why don't you want to be the Three Man? Every time someone rolls the dice and the dice add up to three or a three is shown, the three man has to drink. The three man drinks A LOT.
On your turn, you roll until you get something that isn't a good roll. What are the good rolls? Here they are:
Doubles (excluding double 3's): You get to pass out the dice to any two people or one person you want. If its one person, he drinks the amount that he rolls. If you split the die up, then they both roll and drink what the other person rolled. Here's the twist, if doubles are rolled, the dice go back to the roller and he drinks double what he rolls. If he rolls doubles again, then the dice go back to the original people and they drink triple the roll (only seen that happen once)
-If you roll 3 sets of doubles in one turn (excluding when rolling for drinks after passing out doubles), you get to make a rule. This rule lasts for the rest of the game, unless someone else nullifies it as their rule.
Becoming Three Man: If at any point during the game, you roll double threes or roll your dice off of the table (sloppy dice), you become three man. If the three man rolls double threes, they can choose anyone playing to become the three man and continues their turn.
2 + 1 or 3 + ?: Three man drinks everytime
Dice total 10: Social, everyone drinks
Dice total 7: 7 ahead, the person to the left of roller drinks
Dice total 11: 11 behind, the person to the right of roller drinks
4 + 1: Everyone puts their thumb on the table, last one to do it drinks
5 + 1: Everyone puts their thumb on their nose, last one to do it drinks
6 + 1: Everyone puts their thumb on their ear, last one to do it drinks
(hint: as the numbers go up, so do your movements)
The three man drinks every time a three is showing, so if they're to the left of the roller and a 4 + 3 is rolled, they drink once for the 3 and once for 7 ahead.
Bad Rolls: If you roll any of these, your turn is over and you pass the dice to the next person
4+2
4+5
6+2
Yeah, that doesn't sound like much, but trust me that turns don't go on forever. We've played for hours and only had 2 or 3 rules made the whole time. You'll also go into slumps where you'll hit these on your first or second roll several turns in a row.
Making Rules: You can pretty much make anything you want a rule. So and so drinks every time three man drinks, no saying "drink, drank or drunk", or no laughing or no cussing are some good ones. My favorite for this game though, is if you say "three," you become the three man. That one becomes fun for the three man trying to trick other people.
Okay, this sounds a little complicated, but you'll catch on quick. People play it when they're drunk, so how hard can it be? Just remember to be safe and don't drink and drive.
Three Man Helmet: This can be pretty much anything you want. The more embarassing it is, the better. A favorite, for a quickie, is just make them wear an empty beer box on their head. If you've got the time and like the game, I suggest you make your own. This is what I use:

Those rules sound a bit full on to remember if you've had a few! And I really do think that drinking games are definitely a 'man' thing! Reply...
