<p>This tried and true advice led me to the girl - and now the wife - of my dreams. I'd like to share these tips with you and wish you the same luck I had. </p><p> </p><p>Here are my <i>bona fides</i>: In 16 years of dating I had hundreds of dates. I married when I was 32. I definitely got lucky or got it right, so take this advice for what it is worth. </p><p> </p><p>As a disclaimer, this is meant for dating, not getting laid or getting married. It's great if one leads to another, but it's also good to clarify your goals. There's a whole set of other bits of advice if you just want to score. </p>

They seem like horrible places to meet people and even worse places to date. Pubs yes, clubs, no. Go to a place where you can hear each other and the light is low enough so your pupils dilate.
