I work in a small call center and it's near the end of year. This means it's quite slow so we have several hours of free trial - usually most of the afternoon. The two most entertaining personality that we will lable Red and Hyper. They have very similar personalities. They have both developed this laughter that mimics the sound of either a goat and/or sheep. Hyper thought they sounded like a goat while Red thought they sounded like a sheep. They got into a 30 minute argument about what differences and if they are related - goats and sheep. I'm sitting here in my cubicle and this reminds me of the movie Idiocracy. Idiocracy is about an average joe military man and no one to worry about prostitute that are placed in cryostasis sleep. They were to be awaken in one year in this experiement. The experiment was cancelled when the head of the experiment was arrested for running a prostitution ring and forgotten. They woke up hundreds of years later in the future where stupidity was the norm. They were of the two smartest people in the world and the world was in complete chaos until they came along to help fix it.The reason the world came into chaos from what I determined was that the "stupid" people reproduced a lot faster than the "smart" people. The world, of course, was retro fitted for the "stupid" people when they started being the majority. This is my personal opinion. Go see the movie, it's an interesting concept of the future and very scarey. I bring this up because of my two co-workers that are acting so stupid. It's amazing how people act stupid and how those actions can affect the world but there are few people I know that are "stupid." That then reminds me of the movie Butterfly Effect that I never saw but had my brother tell me about. Small actions can make major changes. It's interesting that once humanity hit the industrial age how quickly technology came about and spread like wildfire in a matter of decades or even how wars affected the world. Ok, so we've had two world wars which did a major thing. Then there was the Vietnam....I forget what they call it now. They just recently declared it a war and apologized for it in the last decade or two. Again, stupid actions but not necessarily stupid people. It makes me wonder what the Clinton Administration would count as..? Then again I was not even in puberty when that occured.

interesting post...i tend to think that smarter people will continue to become a lot smarter, but at the same time 'stupid' people will also grow stupider until there is a gigantic gap between 'smart' and 'stupid.' And then i dont know what happens, maybe intellectual racism? death and destruction as usual? Reply...
