I used to hose my whole hand down with that stuff and make a short time torch out of it. If you keep your hand in motion and don't let the fluid drip into your clothes it works well. rotate and proneate the fire hand while in motion to keep the flame off any one spot , and to extinguish snap shake the hand. once you get used to it it's fun at parties!! Butane is in a gaseous state at room temperature, and what you poured into the cotton ball is definitely not a gas. Ronsonol (what you used in the video) is primarily naphtha, the same fuel used in a Zippo lighter. You might be confusing butane with butanol, a liquid solvent similar to naphtha. Reply...

Congrats on winning dude. I didn't win this time which I think is pretty wrong according to the rubric....
I was in the lead with the whole thumbs up/ thumbs down ratio (without cheating) yet still didn't win...

    Oh well...

Yeah when I saw the results I did a double take. I was hoping for second or third assuming you were gonna get the wii for your metal detector. Apparently the ratio and views meant nothing, they judged the different videos based on what the judges liked. I obviously can't complain, but I totally understand what you're saying Reply...

Yea man, but I really can't be greedy, after all, I had won an iTouch from the site already. Its cool to give someone else a shot now. I also heard, they were sought of favoring pranks and were looking more toward videos which were submitted around the time of the contest starting. Any videos prior to the contest were sought of screwed. So anyway, what are you gonna do with your wii? Reply...

I have one that is more my family's now than mine, so I might take this one to college, or my friend had one that broke and he got a refund but can't find a replacement for it anywhere. I think I might sell it to him and maybe buy an iTouch or fund some extras for my soon-to-be macbook. Which contest did you win the iTouch in? Reply...

Ah a worthy video at least. Well it this case it's good that spongefish are giving the prizes to a larger variety of people, not just the 10 top contributors over and over
