intitle:index.of - Here you're requiring your search results to return sites that have the words "index of" in their title. Sounds simple right? It can also be very powerful if you include terms generated by commonly used website building software such as "index" or  "admin.login".

The dot in "index.of" is read as a space by the search engine.

mp3 - I like music so that's what I put in, but really you could put in anything that you'd like to run across. Movies, ebooks, passwords (shhh), anything.

"top *" - The quotes mean exact match. Meaning, you will only get results that include the words in your quotes in the exact order that you put them in. The * stands for any word. So this search will return results like "top artists", "top charts", "top 20", etc. It will not return anything like "charts top" or "best artists".
