Newpro replacement windows have been a leading home improvement in the New England area since 1945. That was the year Anthony Cogliani started a small window treatment business in a Medford, MA storefront. Newpro has been a family owned business and over the years has expanded their "family" to include employees, suppliers and thousands of satisfied customers.

Their brand new, state-of-the-art website has just been launched, and having worked on it personally I wanted to help spread the word. If you're looking for window replacement options, or just want to see how a business website should be done, visit Newpro.com now.

Newpro Founder Anthony Cogliani

Today, three generations of the Cogliani family are working to maintain our reputation for excellence. You can have faith in our 50-Year Warranty, Fuel Savings Guarantee and Guarantee of Satisfaction because you know we'll be here to back them up. Our president, Nick Cogliani, has guided Newpro into a position as one of the top replacement window marketers in the country. Mary Cogliani, Nick's mom, works in the business as our Director of Public Relations. And Nick's son Anthony has joined the family business in the sales department.

Q: What is a replacement window?

A: A replacement window is a window that's custom built to fit within the opening of an existing window. It's built to fit precisely and can be installed without disturbing the interior and exterior areas around the window.

Q: How can I tell if I need new windows?

A: Here are some sure signs that your old windows need to be replaced:

    * Difficult to open or close
    * Drafty, with air leaking through or around the window
    * Excessive condensation or icing on the inside of the window panes
    * Windows rattle in the wind
    * Paint chipping or peeling
    * House is always too cold in winter - or too hot in summer

Q: What causes condensation on the inside of my windows?

A: Condensation is a natural occurrence on all windows and is caused by humidity, or invisible water vapor, present in the air. When this water vapor comes in contact with a surface that is cooler, the vapor turns into droplets of moisture.
