The New Hackers

The social idea on the underground world of hackers, crackers, and phreakers is that we a band of low-life, Disorganized criminals who are out for self gain and profiting Ideals. This idea pushed upon the world and Forced into he brains of the populace by the media coverage of the Freelance hackers that attack Businesses and Government agencies doing mischievous activities that harm the well being of the country at large. But those are the "Old School" Hackers of the days where the internet was still crawling from the Cesspool of the Technological World.

The thing that most people associate hackers with are the large scale assaults on the Govt. from counter-Intelligence of other countries, or Stealing information from your home computer or a business, Or the Damaging and lose of information done by the "New age teenakers" such as Mafiaboy, and Pr0methus Who's goals were to cause damage to sites that went against there views or to cause havoc. It is acts like those that the word "Hackers" has a social Distain, and place them as the stereotypical Scoundrels sitting in a dark room for days at a time Reeking havoc on the worlds information highway

But let me be the first to tell the world, the ethics of the old are thrown out, and a Underground revolution, with brand new ideas, and a new conscious is now emerging from the burned out ruins of the past Movement to Exploit security holes and webpage defacement. This new army of the net is building every day, and infinite supply of Weapons at its disposal, and enormous amounts of man power to back it. This army is not out to destroy the world, nor to deny any one of there Rights or freedoms. But to push forward the new dawn of knowledge and intellect unlike any that has ever been seen before.

Hackers, an army armed with Mouse and keyboard in one hand, and The Vast, Endless well of information just Ripe for the taking in the other. The Ideals of the first great "White Hat" hackers is reborn in a new light, with added Ideals and new Faces.

But as my point remains, in the world of hackers, there is no right, there is no wrong. There is not good nor is there evil, there are no "White Hats", there are no "Black Hats" there are simply this:



Plainly it means, it does not matter if you are a "DeProfiter" or a "Profiteer" you can help with showing how to fix Security in a system for the pay off of money or just because you feel the need to help and its gives you a rush when you break the code. or you can do it because some one paid to attack a site or because you just want to. Hackers do what they do not for the want or need to Destroy or damage; they do it for the Excitement of being able to have all the worlds' information at the click of a mouse.
