I recently had the desire to put movies on my iPod, but of course, I didn't want to pay the rediculous prices for them on iTunes (and now with iTunes Movie Rentals there are very few that you can actually buy). I looked around and found HandBrake : http://www.handbrake.fr/ and it worked. Some movies you might have trouble with though. I tried putting one movie on but the software didn't automatically recognize the right files, and when I tried to search for them I didn't know where to start and where to end so I gave up on that movie. I plan on putting more movies on it though once I find ones that I like to watch. The best thing about the software is the side-panel and the size adjustment feature. There is a side-panel that lets you pick which iPod you have, and it also includes other devices as well. The size adjustment feature is nice because you can set the MB's you want the file to be so that if you have a smaller iPod for instance, it wouldn't be taking up as much space. The only downside to this is that the lower the size the less quality your movie is going to have. Well, that's my take on HandBrake and I hope you enjoyed it.
