Powerisers are the transportation technology of
the future! If you want to know more, check out my SpongeFish post on
Powerisers. Give it 10 years and you can be sure we will all be running
at 25mph and making 6ft vertical jumps on our set of Poweriser jumping
stilts. - The Uber
Maker

2.
The mobile Internet. No more wifi worries, as 4th and
and 5th Generation mobile broadband continues to increase its capacity
and lower its prices (a la iPhone data plans) we will watch as adoption
rates skyrocket. In the next 5 years all new laptops will have mobile
broadband capacity built in and people won't be looking for wifi
stations everywhere. If speeds are fast enough it can even replace the
home rates for most people, which brings the cost down to essentially
0. -JD

1 thing that isnt popular now but will be in
the future is the "Sardine Can Survival
kit"
heres a link:
<a href="http://gizmodo.com/368557/sardine-can-survival-kit-has-everything-in-it-but-smelly-oily-fish" http:="" gizmodo.com="" 368557="" sardine-can-survival-kit-has-everything-in-it-but-smelly-oily-fish="" mce_href="http://gizmodo.com/368557/sardine-can-survival-kit-has-everything-in-it-but-smelly-oily-fish" target="_blank">http://gizmodo.com/368557/sardine-can-survival-kit-has-everything-in-it-but-smelly-oily-fish" target="_blank">http://gizmodo.com/368557/sardine-can-survival-kit-has-everything-in-it-but-smelly-oily-fish
Its from think geek and it has everything you need to survive

A simple, yet effective item which I believe
will be utilized much more in the near future: ecobulbs!
They
are earth-friendly,compact, fluorescent bulbs. They last much longer
than your normal light bulbs. These bulbs help the environment in many
ways. They reduce carbon dionide, sulfer dioxide, they save energy, and
reduce the deman on landfills. -
EagleChat

5.
i think a product that isnt used right now but
will be in the future is wireless
charging
<a href="http://www.gadgetreview.com/2008/02/wireless-charing-is-very-close-to-reality.html" http:="" www.gadgetreview.com="" 2008="" 02="" wireless-charing-is-very-close-to-reality.html="" mce_href="http://www.gadgetreview.com/2008/02/wireless-charing-is-very-close-to-reality.html" target="_blank">http://www.gadgetreview.com/2008/02/wireless-charing-is-very-close-to-reality.html" target="_blank">http://www.gadgetreview.com/2008/02/wireless-charing-is-very-close-to-reality.html
Becouse we use cell phones and all these things that use batterys
like laptops, and other things, and imagine being able to wirelessly
charge your laptop anywhere? I mean come on, im sure this will be used
alot in the future. -
WhiteSnakeX

6.
Physics
cards, just the like the graphics card no one bought them
at first untill quake made people want one. Companies are starting to
make there games for the ageia physics to work, especially EA but
hardly any people have the card. With nvidia taking on Ageia and
helping them make the physics card or incoperating them into the
already made graphics cards along with the increased amount of games
with physics avalible we should see more people buying it and in 5
years all games should need one. it will become a part of every
game! -
Hord

7.
I think the geek Electronic that inst popular
now but will be popular in the future is Internet TV.
I think eventually we
will not have TV we will just have 60" computer monitors.

Wee493

8.
Battery
technology is going to be the biggest stride in the near
future. While everyones clamoring over solar advances, battery
advancement quietly runs the whole alternative energy show. Invest
while you can.
