Try meditating without the meditation.Pick the moment when you are most stressed, or frustrated. (For me it is when I am waiting for my daughter to fall asleep because I have to sit next to her bed as she lays there whispering to herself.) Begin to tap your foot. (I usually begin by tapping my right foot, and then as that foot gets tired I switch to my left.) Count every four taps mentally. Count up to 120. If you lose count or your mind wanders start over. You will find it easier and easier to keep counting. If you begin to get frustrated with counting so slowly try tapping faster, but keep the count the same. (I find that the tapping relieves the tension of having to sit still and wait, and that the counting helps to clear my head and relax.) Once you get used to doing this every day when you are the most stressed you will find yourself doing it out of habit during other times of the day when you need to relax. Reply...

    Wellllllll......
first.. lay down on the floor of your house, after putting the air on.
now, close your eyes and imagine that the floor is tilting back and forth.
you can almost feel yourself actually moving on the floor.
then think about something nice and calm. like walking at night next to the ocean hearing the sound of the waves back and forth..
    whooosh whoosh...

Try "Meditation for Lazy People" here on SpongeFish. Failing that, Brazil is nice this time of year. Reply...

I usually try a hot bubble bath with Epsom Salts and my favorite aromatherapy - lavendar.

It really depends on what type of person you are - are you the athletic type, workaholic, bookworm, etc.

The best way to relax is to really do what you love. Some people find a nature hike relaxing while others find a good book relaxing...

Do you have a specific situation for relaxing - like before bed, before a job interview? That would help me to offer more specific advice.

    Close your eyes.
Listen to quiet "noise".....any sound (music, air-purifier, sound of ocean)
    Lie still.
    Concentrate on slowing your breathing.
Smile - you are beginning to relax.
