I want to make a delicious beer batter bread - from scratch...so I am looking for a good and fairly simple recipe. I do not have a bread maker of any kind - so it will most probably be hand-mixed (although I do have a large mixer if that is better) and baked in a tradional electric oven. No altitude considerations needed as I am on the Pacific Coast at about 300 ft.
Please include what brand of beer is best for flavor, what specific type of cheese (if any), type of flour and the correct measurements.
This recipe needs to serve 6, at least.
Please help!
