Just a trend I've noticed around Cupertino. Locations are further apart, (as compared with a city), and hardly any pleasant/interesting scenery along the way. But people will still drive 3 blocks for Starbucks, no bikes to be seen. Perhaps the situation is better in Mountain View? Reply...

Seems like the situation has been getting better in mountain view as the gas prices have been remaining high. Usually this time of year I'm the only one I see riding, but there are still a surprising number of people out there. Reply...
