How is Palo Alto? There's so much said about it that it's hard to know what's true. I'm considering Stanford for next Fall, but my mom's not paying for a visit. Reply...

Palo Alto is fine i guess...its a nice and expensive town but I've lived here my whole life and to me its SO BORING! I can't wait to leave haha. Stanford is a good school for sure, i live five min away from the campus and my high school is right across the street so I'm deff not going to go there... Reply...

Haha come on you live in the heart of Silicon Valley, it's like a nerd's wet dream. But I can totally see what you're saying, I live right outside NYC and while I couldn't say it's ever boring, I usually prefer to go elsewhere now.
Likewise, no way I'm applying to NYU or Columbia Reply...

A nerd's wet dream? Haha i didn't know people from NY thought about Palo Alto like that...I really want to go to NY - especially for new years (my bday). You should go to school here, I'm sure you'd like it. Reply...

It's awesome as long as you don't stick to the tourist locations. The Empire State building is a tall building, the Statue of Liberty is a statue... But Chinatown is always too cool and the pizza (actually, food in general) in Greenwich Village downtown is beyond amazing. And yeah it's really coming down to Stanford or UPenn right now Reply...
Kimmy at 3:45pm on Dec. 20, 2007
Well the Empire State building is no longer there...so yeah...haha but i know what you mean. I have only been to the East Coast twice in my life and the first time i was like 2 so i don't remember anything. If you get into Stanford you're really really smart lol, and you will only be 5 min away form me haha. Reply...
