About Me
I joined SpongeFish on 07.06.07 I write a gourmet food column for Suite101.com and also my own blog, The Leather District Gourmet. My writing has been recognized by national authors, editors and chefs. I've been lucky to eat all over the world from duck in Beijing to ceviche in South America. I cook all the time and am usually thinking about the next meal while eating the current one. Good thing for the Asian genes - otherwise I'd probably be big as a house! While you were watching The Brady Bunch, I was watching Julia Child. Other than what I've learned from her,I'm self-taught.
My Philosophy
"If you can get nothing else out of life, at least get a good dinner. "I think that was Twain, but I'm not sure.
How about Julia's advice about dieting? "Diet food is something to eat while you're waiting for the steak to cook!"
